2020是不平凡的一年，席卷全球的新冠疫情冲击着国际政治与经济形势，也让越来越多的人开始思考教育与人生的意义。

2020 is an eventful year when COVID-19 swept the world and impacted the international political and economic situation, thereby promoting more and more people to reflect on the meaning of education and life.

作为教育者，我们始终在思考如何定义人才以及如何让孩子拥有持续获得幸福感的能力，回归教育的本真，那就是我们究竟希望孩子成为一个什么样的人，才能在面对人生中诸如疫情这般的重大考验时，仍能淡定从容、化危为机。

As educators, we never cease our efforts to ponder how to define talents and how to equip children with the ability to achieve sustained happiness. By tracing back to the true essence of education, we have to clarify what kind of people we intend our children to become, so that they can remain calm and turn a crisis into an opportunity when confronting the most arduous tests in life, such as COVID-19.

秉持着这样的育人目标与探索精神，22年来爱迪学校始终致力于培养根植中国土壤、拥有世界胸怀，并能在国际平台展示才华的青年。

Bearing in mind such educational target and exploratory spirit, Aidi School has been committed to cultivating young people deeply rooted in China, equipped with global perspective, and fully capable of demonstrating talents on international platforms.

From the strengthening efforts of basic education to the implementation of quality education, from the integration of Chinese and Western curriculum to the multiple channels of the K12 consistent system, "Aidisons" in every grade are giving full play to their broadminded quality and splendid world view. With exceptional cultural confidence, they display their talents on the world stage, thereby revealing the admirable, forceful and assertive personalities of the Chinese youth.

在过去的一年，爱迪的同学们经受住了重重考验，面对授课与学习方式的转变，不仅仍在各项考试与竞赛中勇夺佳绩，更体现出了成绩之外的软实力。

In the past year, students in Aidi School withstood numerous tests. Despite the transformation of teaching and learning patterns, not only did they achieve extraordinary performance in various examinations and competitions, they also demonstrated satisfactory soft power beyond their academic performance.

日常培养的自控自律、时间管理、自我探究、目标导向等能力一一得到展现与发扬，学校欣慰于同学们优异表现的同时，更对大家的未来充满信心。

Besides, they fantastically displayed such abilities they have developed in daily life as self-control and self-discipline, time management, self-exploration and goal-oriented efforts.
